The Reverend W. Frisby Hendricks

The Rev. W. Frisby Hendricks, III, a.k.a. "Father Frisby", (not to be confused with his dad, also an Episcopal priest, who was known as "Father Hendricks") arrived at All Saints in the middle of Lent, 2005, as an interim pastor, appointed by the Bishop of Southeast Florida. In the autumn of '05, the Vestry asked the Bishop that Father Frisby be given the opportunity to become priest-in-charge, a request which was granted. Previously, he had served parishes in Portsmouth and Richmond, Virginia; Binghamton, New York, and West Palm Beach.

His interests are liturgy, a subject which he enjoyed teaching as a lecturer in liturgy at the Diocesan School for Christian Studies in Ft. Lauderdale and history, which fits in nicely as he serves as the pastor of Martin County's oldest church.

He is married to Jean Ann, who teaches History and Political Science at Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm. She loves the water and was on the swimming team at her college in Connecticut and lived most of her life on the shores of Long Island, New London, Connecticut, and Portsmouth, Virginia.

Jean Ann and Father Frisby are the proud parents of Cary, who graduated from Florida State and Geoffrey, a Senior at the University of Florida. The two get along well, until its the football season or basketball season. Their younger brother is Christopher, who is a Sophomore at Cardinal Newman. Christopher enjoys playing football and lacross in school.

Father Frisby is a graduate of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, Class of '74, and reminds any listener that two of the six previous Rectors of All Saints' have graduated from the Chicagoland seminary.
