There is something new at All Saints' Episcopal Church.
At the entrance, there was an old cement block wall. The old wall has been
replaced by a field stone wall that enhances the decor of our beautiful Church.
All material for the wall was donated by Ronald Mayer, President of Glass Block
Warehouse of Palm City. Our thanks to him for such a beautiful addition.

Genesis 1:28: “And God blessed them and told them you are masters of the fish and birds and all the animals” |
Because not all animals can make it to this event, Father Frisby makes a special trip to bless a loggerhead turtle at the Environmental Studies Center in Jensen Beach. See the photo here.

The Living Church, a wekkly publication reporting the news of The Episcopal Church, published in Milwaukee, cited All Saints' Church, Jensen Beach, as one of the seven growing congregations of the Diocese of Southeast Florida. Statistics of the various dioceses within the Episcopal Church followed an article on church growth in the September 14 issue. The diocesan office of Southeast Florida reported that the magazine received the information from the diocese's Broward County office.
Along with All Saints' Church, the oldest of the seven congregations, the article listed All Saints, Fort Lauderdale, St. Mark's, Palm Beach Gardens, St. Patrick's, West Palm Beach, St. Matthew's, Delray Beach, and Historic Saint Agnes, Miami.
Christopher Hendricks, football player, trumpet player and a thurible-swinging Acolyte can now add another title behind his name…Vice President.
At the Annual Youth Convention of the Diocese of Southeast Florida, held on the Weekend of August 8-9, 2008, at St Benedict’s Church in Plantation, Florida, Chris was elected Vice-President from a slate of six candidates.
The election was held after the fifth plenary session of the Convention, where over 125 teenagers gathered as they represented a fourth of the Diocese’s congregations.
“It was great fun and I met a lot of nice kids” remarked Chris. The Diocese stretches from the Keys to Martin County. The Rt. Rev. Leo Frade, Bishop of Southeast Florida, often remarks that it takes him eight hours to travel the distance of the Diocese by automobile.
Interestingly, all of the officers elected were young men: President, Michael Sahdev from St Benedict’s Church, Plantation, who was re-elected; Vice-President, Chris Hendricks, who was the only representative from All Saints’, Jensen Beach; Secretary, Kyle Meunier from St. Benedict’s Church, Plantation; Administrative Assistant, Strickland Davis from St Pattrick’s Church, West Palm Beach.
The President and Vice-President will represent the youth at the 39th Annual Convention of the Diocese, held at Coral Gables, Florida, in November, 2008, as well as the General Convention of the Episcopal Church in 2009 in Anaheim, California.
